Nuff said, the happiness were all WRITTEN on our faces! let the pictures do the talking!

found Coffee Prince!! i am SO happY!

For the fans of Coffee Prince, it's located at Hongyik University! I recalled it was Exit 4. still gotta walk some distance uphill. but just ask the convenience stall young man for the directions!
Got the tickets!

I am in Lotte World! Yay! WooHoO!!
Bungee Drop was cool! up and drop THREE times!

Still coool..
.. not anymore!

this was the scariest ride for me! (no not the boat ride, the round one on the right!) You practically see every view from Every Single Angle you can imagine. i thought i wanna puke.
Skip the Ghost House if you can, good god Flo n I had to be forced to take a 15min breather! the 3D effects show made us giddy like hell! The Gyro Drop was the ULTIMATE Free Fall machine can!
See how high!!

YuMmY!

Lamppost!
Map of wonderland!

Indoor Lotte World, big!
the hot air balloon REALLY floats on the ceiling!

just couldnt resist doing this.....:P
I love you Captain Hook!

My best friend was there too!!
So happy to see my best friend!

shooting game was damn fun. An auntie in front of us was the star shooter! she must have been there dozen of times!
reliving my childhood...swish swish swish!

What To Do During the Vesak Holiday?

Suami and i had a very intensive brainstorming session over MSN and shortlisted the below:

1. A day at the beach in Sentosa, night in Cafe Del Mar
2. Pitch tent in East Coast - i have my SIX MAN tent!- BBQ, next morning blade (Though we anticipate Ms Feng will pop home to bed instead).
3. Thematic Photo Taking around Singapore
4. Graduation Photo Shots (ok we are a couple of years late but who cares! we have the gowns n motar boards still!) plus Clubbing at night (NOT St James)
5. Come my HDB Block People Watch. (as recommended by STB in 20 Unique Things To Do No. 19. )

Vote!
Big Four (plus One)

Was lucky that the BF (+) could meet 2 days before my trip 1 week ago. Havent seen Xin for 6 months! Long enough for her to believe my hair grew at an expeditious rate to reach the current length. ;) First time all Four have long tresses together! (albeit 3 r Fakes. :P) I realised, that, curiously enough, our partings go the same way... woo..Minotti (if i rem correctly) served pretty decent desserts, no loss to skip the one on the right though. Go after 10 where it's half price. We left at 10.

People say 遇强则强,遇弱则弱。I say 遇胖则胖!Beside Ah Doi, i appear even more 胖嘟嘟! Oh No!! :P

KOREA MARCH 2008 - DAy 1: Day of the Gungs n Shrines
Flo was away in Jeju, so i was on my own. Korea remains my favourite destination with the ultra efficient Seoul Metro which helped save pockets which otherwise will be burnt by the sky-high fares of Seoul taxis.
I have always been and remain mesmerised by how well the centuries old Gungs of such architectural contrast to ultra modern high-rise in Korea, blend in so unnoticeably into the cityscape. Isnt it cool to walk past a 500 year old Palace on your way to work everyday? Obviously, i took the chance to visit as many Gungs as i possibly can, armed with a Seoul Metro Map.

Outside Geongbukgung- there was preparation for the Changing Guards Ceremony an hour after i past it actually. But i was too caught up in the National Folk Museum within the same compound to be in time for it. I regretted not capturing the pristine surroundings of Geongbukgung - the mountains that lined the backdrop were amazing. outside the Museum within Geoongbukgung. The pagoda adds on to the majestic feel of the place. Sneek peek of the backdrop mountain of Geongbukgung..The sinks within the Museum were quite cool - they are shared between inner and outer users.
I was intrigued by this flat round structure lying in the middle of one of the Exhibits Hall. Turned out that removing each cap releases a genre of tradional music. The atmosphere was however pretty eerie - imagine music/singing appearing in the background for nothing. Enhanced by the dim lightings. Plus i was alone.
of cos i have to try it myself.
It was drizzling and i didnt want to spoil Flo's camera by having water seeping into it, so i bought this cheesy cute umbrella that was selling at a very reasonable price within the Museum souvenir shop. I didnt manage to figure out its connection with the artefacts though. "..Under my umbrella..brella.. brella...Under my Umbrella..brella.."Missed out Jong-Myo Royal Shrine on my last trip and wanted to make good. Even if it means a boring picture in front of closed doors with the tablets of past Emperors and Royalties hiding behind. The official Ceremony is in every May.
The Chief Royal Guard (i assumed) outside DeokSuGung. I imagine him hiding a smile. hee. Flo commented that Korean guys are better off wearing their traditional costume. I am obliged to agree.Caught the Guards Changing Ceremony for this! It was quite an experience with the location in the midst of a busy main road, towering commercial buildings......
....and Dunkin Donuts.
DeokSuGung was quite one of a kind as it houses both tradional and modern buildings. It's one of the more recent Gungs..

the fountain wasnt working.

It was only 6pm when i ended the day in DeokSuGung but I didnt feel like going on anymore. The whole day i was just taking my time, strolling, camwhoring, walking in the rain. Blissful.

Sat down at the busstop outside DeokSuGung (in the cold.brr) and just watched the activities go by. cars stopping n going at the traffic junction. The overlooking Namdaemun. Busy Seoulites crossing the streets. Corporate executives in expensive looking trenchcoats brisking past. Staring back at bus uncles who stopped just beside me and wondering if i wish to hop up.

Did not take any pictures there, because i didnt feel like it.

It was so.

There used to be a time when Pa always carried us in his arms, back to the bedrooms, when we fell asleep on the sofa.

Then i remembered my turns to carry Pumpkin n PLS (save for a meagre few for Pumpkin who grew a little too fast). This evolved into waking them up to walk back to their rooms.

Cant recall when it was since we decided that shutting off the fan does an equally effective job as well..

The Other Boleyn Girl

no this is not a movie review.

Ms Feng fetched me with Suami and we went to watch it yesterday night. Came home straight after that. A total outing of 2.5 hours.

a very straightforward meetup with no deep conversations. just an exchange of what i did that day and what happened to them recently. but i had such strong feelings when i returned home. life with true friends is just that simple.

this is what it shld be like rite?
