there are just so many thoughts running through your head at times you really dunno which comes first. no hard and fast rules, just a matter of which set of synapses connect first? ponderous mood. very ponderous.
a wise friend says when u want to have it you cannot get it, when you get it, you start thinking you don't need it. u noe know true it is when people always say you are never satisfied with something? like you gotta really know what is not satisfied before finding out what is satisfied before finding out what it is never satisfied. dun get it? nvm.

9 Click March Day
I am tmd exhausted.
Starting off at Mount Faber, we followed the trail and went through to Henderson Waves leading on to Alexandra Arch (it is really just an arch) while passing via the Elevated Walkway. Discovered HortPark and decided unanimously it's a pretty ideal place for wedding photo-taking and even a garden wedding (Suami expressed interest so all the rest step aside!). Ending off at Kent Ridge Park, I have never known there exists the Canopy Walk despite the numerous times I've been there.
A fishing NINE km - ONE WAY.
And then. It dawned on us that we had to walk back to where the car was! Fainted!
Took a smart shortcut. You cant imagine our jubilation when we returned to the carpark. I have never remembered 4150. It stays in my memory now, i promise.
Completed the wonderful day with Made with Honour. Typical plot, no surprises. More exciting was the new Downtown East I have never been to before. (TMD got labelled Mountain Tortoise when i so excitedly shared this new (or not) discovery with Pumpkin)
Photos up when Pika sends me. til then!

The day went by...
..monotonously until that call. Sometimes you really don't know what values are for anymore. But you just wish to hold on steadfastly. Being stubborn huh.
Highlight was the sms from Ken dear confirming he was able to meet. I was so excited! It's been such a long time!! Meeting tog with his 2 dearies must have brought joy to him too right.. imposing my own thoughts upon. ha.
two shots each. one proper. one improper. Cant show the one for Suami until she nods her head. So meanwhile that's all you get!

Getting Old(er)
You know you are getting on in years when:
1. People whom you come into business contact with are increasingly similar in age.
2. People who commented you look young, still guess an age above your actual.
3. People whom you commented look young, are really younger than you.
4. People start asking whether you are married, not whether you are attached.
5. People start to believe you when you jest that you are actually divorced with three kids.
6. People start to praise that you are a chio mum, when they see photos of you carrying an ubercute baby.
7. You start feeling ashamed of not being able to engage actively in discussions involving gross FDI and FDI disbursements.
8. You feel hot and tie your hair into 2 ponytails, look into the mirror, and actually say "hey that's cute!"
9. You find wine that smells like cough syrup, actually rather tasty.
10. You can sit and stone in a park.

BUGger off!
Pumpkin msned to inform that PBS kanna (suspected) bed bug bites and the pest control was called in. Cause determined as 'people-transported'. ie it was externally brought in.
Naturally, the spotlight came on me ala Mr-Bean-Style.
This prompted a furious research on modern man's best friend Mr Goo. Both a (inwardly-triggered defensive) move to prove my innocence and a desire to find out all I can about their complete extermination. PBS and i share the room.
"...constantly being transported and dispersed in luggage, bedding and other items such as bedroom furniture..." - Hmm.
"Remember not to place your luggage next to the bed during travels.." - Ohoh.
I'm still not saying it's clear-cut, though even Michael Carrick can tell u the most likely conclusion. i'm pretty screwed.

We teach people how to treat us.
You either teach people to treat you with dignity and respect, or you don't. This means you are partly responsible for the mistreatment that you get at the hands of someone else. You shape others' behaviour when you teach them what they can get away with and what they cannot.
Learn to be a better teacher, Chub.

"The truth is, part of me is every age. I'm a three-year-old, i'm a five-year-old, i'm a thirty-seven-year-old, i'm a fifty-year-old. I've been through all of them, and i know what it's like. I delight in being a child when it's appropriate to be a child. I delight in being a wise old man when it's appropriate to be a wise old man. Think of all i can be! I am every ages, up to my own. Do you understand?"
