Fiesty Day

Today i was full of angst. i dun even know if this sentence is correct English but hell just as long as u get me.

DC is terribly stubborn. ok i am too. but i am trying hard to fathom whatever's going on in his head. did i miss out something? was he many steps ahead of me? have i skipped a point? Am i the only one to see it this way??

argh. u noe the expression 'beats me'? i feel the literal sense!

the worse thing to happen @ work is being utterly unconvinced but is unfortunately not the final decision maker. damn it.

may the final one rise.

Extended family gatherings are always perfect grounds for gossip sharing and interesting happenings.

1 came with 28.
2 came with 88.
3 came with 100.

the world works on inverse relationships. Intriguing.

damn me to miss it.

Pa told me today he found my jacket.

the one i thought i lost and was throwing an unreasonable tantrum on, just 2 weeks back, before my departure to the airport. it cld be the early morning blues. Or my growing dislike for the airport.

Ma said he rummaged through the basket in my room - alone - and found it. I had apparently forgotten that i left it there for washing.

i cringed. And my nose felt funny.

thanks pa..

Seeing through?

"Sometimes when you sacrifice something, you are not losing it.
You are just passing it on to someone else."

From my current read - Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom. Reflective with jolts of humour.

Thing is, do you WANT to pass it on?

Breathe

it's so sucky to be up at this ungodly hours (it's 2.17am!), planning for a trip to Undesirable #1 on your personal map.

2 weeks somemore...

Jeffrey & Bernard

Jeffrey and Bernard are cousins.
Jeffrey and Bernard boarded the plane by themselves today.

Jeffrey and Bernard each have a big card hung over their necks for identification.
Jeffrey and Bernard sat beside me.
Jeffrey is 8. Bernard is 10.

waking up at 4.30am this morning, my drowsiness hung all the way from home to boarding. The Ultrasupermegaso Adorable Baby in the world will be invisible.

until the first contact.

Jeffrey nudged me awake and pushed the plate of food to me.
He did not notice he was one of the few to be served first.
because he is a kid. a kid travelling alone w a not too much older cousin.

SO SWEET.

..no i did not accept his offer...

..but he became visible from then on and until he got his luggage.

Hanoi..

..is cold. n despite reminding myself while watching the news before the trip, i had forgotten to bring the appropriate jacket. borrowed PLS' punk nike jacket which is only half the length of my body. that is short. very short you know.

my dearies wanna meet on Good Friday. good god, when is that? i have been so out of town i had to pause whenever filling in the dates on immigration cards.

speaking about god. Or God. i had an exchange with Flo last nite. she was commenting on something and typed good God. i reflected that it's amusing that Christians always type god with the capital G and without themselves realising? Flo said something like there are many gods in her life.. money etc, but only one God. oh well, hard for me to fathom. God or god.

i digress.

n so Good Friday's coming's Friday. my dearies were so smart to email me so as to get my return date from the autoreply. but god, i gotta fly off again the following day. out. sigh.

Ling just said i am ugly. he went Funan by himself coz he says he can walk faster by himself. this = i walk slower = i have short legs = my legs are stumpy = not pretty = UGLY = he said i am ugly.

but i am in Hanoi. hehe.

Bangkok Trip 2008

Finally had the chance to go somewhere further with ling. extended my work trip and got ling to join for a couple of days.

Bollywood in Bangkok!

Looks like fruit? It's ang-ku-kuah! pity those we bought back turned bad and extremely smelly.

baibai baibai! good luck comes bad luck go!
sawadeeka hehe

the puppies @ Chatuchak market were Soooo cute!

these miniature clay figurine @ the stall in MBK were amazing. the guy was a beefy man but with extremely unbelievable nimble fingers! take a look at how small the clay figures are! we bought the 3 sheep above. one big, regular and tiny size. the man almost flipped when i asked for a tiny one. keke.

JQ and his chicken wings.

huge shopping...
...but only these are mine!
see MBK behind?

even at the airport, Ling cant do without his carbonara.
the fellow singaporean kept trembling/shaking lei. and yes, that's his finger.

Another Baby Piggy
Baby Ayden was 1 month old - 2 months back. Havent had the chance to take a photo with him yet. The cupcakes look beautiful.
